Alpena – Success Story

Alpena was able to purchase new block targets to support the National Archery in the Schools Program in the district. The district has more than 60 students in the middle and high school who participate in the archery program, as well as over 100 students that are taught archery each year in the physical education classes.

The new targets were more user friendly and allowed shooters to shoot any pound bow and the arrows stick which helped students feel more successful in their shooting abilities. By utilizing the block targets the younger students could use mini bows and feel successful when hitting the targets.

I am glad we were able to purchase the Block Targets. They are great for our kid’s self-confidence.
