S. C. Tucker Elementary School (Danville School District) - Success Story

S.C. Tucker elementary school utilized ISEP grant funds to purchase an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) and supplies and training to appropriately be prepared to use the AED if necessary.

The AED was placed in the schools safe room that has multiple uses including cafeteria, assembly room, after school programs, and open to the public during severe weather events.

Staff members have been trained to use the AED and are prepared in the event of an emergency in need of an AED.
