Lavaca Middle School (Lavaca School District) – Success Story

2019 - 2020  The Lavaca Middle School utilized ISEP funds to purchase repllacement pads for seven of the eight AEDs in the district.

2018-2019   The Lavaca middle school utilized ISEP funds to purchase Automated External Defibrillator (AED) pads and batteries to ensure equipment is running efficiently in case of an emergency.

In addition, the district was able to purchase two wheelchairs for student/staff transportation in the event of an injury requiring mobile transportation to the nurse or wellness center. No longer will students/staff have to rely on unsteady rolling desk chairs to transport injured parties to medical assistance on campus.
